About

I'm a person in long-term recovery and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with people struggling with addiction and relapse. Maybe you've tried to stop drinking or using and can't make it stick. Maybe you've had months or years of recovery and then relapsed. Maybe your life looks pretty good from the outside, but you know something isn't right. You don't need to have this figured out before you call me. We can start with where you actually are. My approach is direct and nonjudgmental. We'll look honestly at your substance use—what it does for you, what it's costing you, and what keeps pulling you back. We'll also deal with what's underneath and around it, including anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, trauma, and compulsive behavior. If abstinence is your goal, we'll develop a relapse-prevention plan specific to you. I've been a therapy client myself. I think that matters. I know what it's like to sit on both sides of the therapy room. And sometimes therapy is funny. Addiction is serious. Therapy and recovery don't always have to be. I work with teens and adults throughout California online. Click "Request Appointment" to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. No obligation. No sales pitch.
